Caldera’s VisualRip+ is Best RIP Software and Overall Best Product of the Year in Wide Format Imaging’s Reader’s Choice Top Products of 2008.

Caldera, a software specialist in color management, imaging and driving solutions for large format peripherals, and X-Rite Incorporated, a global leader in color technology announced the availability of the fi rst ever Linux version of the awardwinning X-Rite i1iO Automated Chart Reader.

Caldera has just received RIP Certification for the HP Designjet Z6100 printer series. The Caldera is the first RIP software to have passed the test cases focusing on the RIP-printer integration, with special attention in areas like performance, which reinforce the HP Designjet Z6100 value preposition.

It is the Caldera RIP which has been chosen by Cromajet to drive the new Croma Digipress, the fastest PRINT & CUT to format roll to sheet inkjet press during its world premiere launch at FESPA 2007.
